Discover the magic of transforming liquid metal into solid art. Learn how we teach the ancient craft of metal casting with modern safety standards.

At StuDIYo Lab, we believe in pushing the boundaries of what 'kids activities' can be. One of our most exciting programs is Metal Casting—a process that combines physics, chemistry, and pure artistic creativity.
Casting is a 6,000-year-old manufacturing process where a liquid material is usually poured into a mold, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, and then allowed to solidify. In our workshop, we use specialized low-melting-point alloys that allow children to experience this industrial process safely.
Metal casting isn't just about making a cool medal or figurine; it's about understanding how the world around us is made. From the engines in cars to the jewelry we wear, casting is everywhere. By mastering this, children gain a deep appreciation for industrial science.
